In this school project for branding the piano concerts at Carnegie Hall, I explore the use of geometrics and simplicity as we want the visual language to attract people to receive the joy of concerts in the most direct way.

The Bio Lab at the School of Visual Arts is the result of many people's expertise, research, and sustained effort. It is home to a wide variety of plant and animal specimens, providing students and faculty with a wealth of reference resources to learn about anatomy and to inspire them to create surrealist works.
I produced the short video for Bio Lab’s promotion. To emphasize the diversity of organisms and the fun, and mysterious atmosphere of the lab itself, I used very bright, noisy colors and very fast frame-by-frame work.
One Last Kiss

To explore the themes of friendship, individuality, and loneliness, often the most common concerns of children and teenagers, this video utilized the artistic elements of stylized children's book illustration, such as flat and geometric shapes and colors. Inspired by my cultural background, I further combined such contemporary design with elements of a traditional Chinese art form, shadow play (or shadow puppetry) in the creation of the characters.
