With a genuine love for art and storytelling, she draws from theater, literature, and everyday observation to build work that feels both grounded and expressive. Ming sees design as a form of communication, an act of service that helps ideas reach people with honesty and care.
Outside of work, she can often be found in theaters, on flights, at Szechuan restaurants (she’s from Jiangxi Province in CHN, though), or at IFC Center. Back in her hometown, a golden retriever, a former street doggie, and a Dutch rabbit wait for her. In New York, she has fostered 10 cats over 5 years.
As a fortunate New Yorker, she saw 111 shows in 2025. Her favorite of the year was Meet the Cartozians.
