One Last Kiss

2023To explore the themes of love, queerness, and loneliness, this piece utilized the artistic elements of stylized children's book illustration, such as flat and geometric shapes and colors. Inspired by my cultural background, I further combined such contemporary design with elements of a traditional Chinese art form, shadow play (or shadow puppetry), in the creation of the characters.
