Chekhov Center is a contemporary theatre dedicated to reviving the timeless works of Anton Chekhov. The visual concept draws inspiration from the birch tree, a recurring motif in Russian literature that evokes the stillness of winter and the melancholy beauty of desolation. Through this symbol, the identity pays tribute to Chekhov’s deep connection with nature and his ability to reveal emotion through quiet observation. The design explores how minimal forms and subtle contrasts can translate Chekhov’s restrained yet profound storytelling into a modern visual language that bridges past and present.
